Okay, so here’s the deal with the next Minecraft Live. It might, and I mean might, be happening as soon as September 22. This is all based on some accidental leak from Mojang, like somebody hit the wrong button on the website or something—classic. Anyway, no official word from our trusty Minecraft team yet, but imagine if true—exactly six months since the last one. Spooky timing, right?
So, thinking back to March 22. There was that Minecraft Live where we got a sneak peek at A Minecraft Movie, which hit theaters on April 4. Just can’t forget the whole crowd ooh-ing at the trailer, and the cool updates. The Happy Ghast mount! Who even thinks up friendly ghostly creatures hanging around in the ghastly Soulsand Valley? I guess someone super creative. Also, those Vibrant Visuals shaders for the Bedrock Edition dropped then too, spicing things up visually.
Oh, right, where was I? Insider Gaming caught this—or maybe stumbled upon—it on the Spanish site. According to them, the pesky website said the next stream is set for Monday, September 22, 1:00 PM Eastern. Why the Spanish version had this info and the English didn’t? No clue. Makes you wonder if it was all part of some master plan, or just a big oopsie.
Anyway, with all the copper stuff coming for Fall (I sometimes wonder if my house should have a copper roof now), we might see more reveals there. Plus, more surprises for 2025 and a bit into 2026. Mojang’s been a busy bee because some of this was hinted at back on July 1. You could even test some new features already if you dug into the beta or snap builds on Minecraft’s PC launcher—if you’ve got the patience, that is.
But yeah, so many questions, not enough answers yet. Will Mojang spill the beans soon? I hope so. The suspense is kinda maddening but in a fun, stay-tuned kind of way.
