Rebecka Coutaz, the powerhouse behind DICE, has now expanded her leadership role to include the UK-based developer, Criterion. According to GI.biz, she is stepping up as the VP and GM of Battlefield Studios Europe, a significant move that underlines EA’s ongoing commitment to its renowned Battlefield series. Criterion has been a crucial player in this franchise since they first got involved with Battlefield 1 back in 2016 and will persist in collaborating with EA’s other teams at Motive and Ripple Effect across the pond in the United States.
Coutaz’s journey with DICE began in November 2021 when she joined as VP and GM after her successful stint at Ubisoft’s Annecy studio. Reflecting on her time so far, Coutaz shared: “Joining DICE in 2021 allowed me to collaborate with an amazingly talented and diverse group.
