FromSoftware just dropped the bomb—Duo Expeditions has a release date in Elden Ring Nightreign! Okay, so “Duo Expeditions” is just a fancy term for playing with a buddy. Two-player co-op, finally! They rushed to add it for solo back at launch, but co-op? Three only. Why the delay for two? Beats me. But hey, it’s in the next big update.
So, there’s this note… something about enabling targeting cookies? Just a techie thing, I guess.
Patch 1.02 hits Wednesday, July 30. Sure, Duo Expeditions is the star, but there’s more lurking in this update. Shocking, right? FromSoftware also says we’ll get some quality of life improvements. You know when they say “quality of life,” it’s like those tiny things that make everything way better but shouldn’t be a big deal. Anyway, there’s one standout with Relics—new filters because, seriously, sorting through a mountain of those gets old fast.
And, side note—Nightreign’s selling like hotcakes. Over 5 million! Can you believe that?
More placeholder stuff? Honestly, I just ignore it. Seems like a “tech-in-the-background” situation—moving on.
Perfect timing for this update, too. It’s like a day before the next Everdark Sovereign thing starts. We’re talking upgraded versions of Nightlords—Tricephalos, Augur, you name it. Last few weeks, we’ve had Gaping Jaws, Darkdrift Knight, and Sentient Pest going wild. I mean, Everdark Sovereign sounds epic, right? In case you’re out of the loop, there’s a guide somewhere about map events and whatnot. Probably worth a look if you want to keep up with everything happening in Nightreign.
