Alright, so I just stumbled across this article about some big news in the gaming world. Or at least it seems big if you’re into VR stuff—who isn’t these days, right?
Anyway, this Kickstarter thing for “Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist” wrapped up and they raked in a whopping over $170k. I mean, seriously, do people have that much cash lying around? I guess so. It’s by these folks at Resolute Games, and they just went full ambition mode on this one.
Their campaign went off like a shot—I’m talking like $25k in the first 1.5 hours. Maybe they bribed someone. Or not. Who knows. Within a week, they hit over $100k. And they tacked on all these stretch goals like, you know, bonfire healing systems and whatnot. It sounds more like a camping trip, but in a cool way.
They’re promising this huge, sprawling world with all these biomes. I’m trying to imagine this, like, five different places you can explore with all kinds of critters and treasures. They say don’t stick to the usual paths or you’ll miss out. Which is basically what my mom always said about life. Just go exploring, and if you trip over a treasure, well, bonus!
So, here’s the kicker (pun intended 🙃): Eldramoor’s all about hanging with your buddies. It’s like a social game on steroids. You do dungeons, guilds, PvP—basically everything you’d expect. The bonfire system? I guess it’s the new ‘let’s hang by the water cooler’. Wish I had more friends into gaming. Might be time to recruit!
Here’s where things get a bit tangled. Big dreams need big bucks, and while they hit that sweet Kickstarter cash, I’m guessing they’re eyeballing more funding from somewhere. Gotta keep those dreamers and developers fueled on coffee and creativity till they launch next year. 2026, people.
They’ll be ready for both Quest 3 and SteamVR headsets. If that means anything to you, then cool. You’re ahead of me. Check out more jazz about Eldramoor on Steam or keep an eye on their Kickstarter updates—if you’re into receiving those mental energy drinks.
So yeah, if you’re a VR junkie or just curious, keep tabs on this one. Could be the start of something epic. Or not. You’ll see.
