Sure thing! Let’s dive into this wild ride of thoughts and gamer feels.

So, I was playing Phasmophobia the other day, right? And now they’re telling us there’s this crazy update coming. It’s called ‘Chronicle’ or something, dropping June 24. Mark your calendars or whatever. Anyway, they’re shaking up the whole evidence collection thing. I mean, who doesn’t love a good ghost hunt, but now there’s like this new Sound evidence category. Totally wicked. Can you even? Sound? Like Spirit Box chatters and Paranormal earworms. Plus, a Sound Recorder that’s, well, tiered? What’s that even mean? I have no clue.
Okay, there’s this image they showed. Or maybe it was nothing. But honestly, it’s like a visual tornado out there. Moving on.
Oh! And they’re ditching the Photos tab. Now, it’s called Media or something. Sound fancy, doesn’t it? You stick photos, videos, and all the noisy bits in there. And if you snag the initial piece of evidence, it’s ‘Unique.’ Like a shiny Pokémon or something, maybe? More cash and XP! I’m in. Oh, and depending on what gear you use, there are tiers and bonuses… which I totally didn’t see coming. Or maybe I did and just forgot.
Then there’s this whole leveling system getting a makeover. Honestly, I’m all here for it, unless it totally borks my current level. Fingers crossed. New menu UI, yadda yadda. Bugs squashed, of course—how else do you release anything nowadays?
And they’re giving Grafton Farmhouse a facelift. Someone please fix that horror of a layout, right? Later on, your player character is getting spruced up too. ‘Cause who doesn’t want to look fabulous while ghost-hunting?
So, June 24. The hype train leaves the station. You in? Phasmophobia’s on Steam, and for the VR folks with PlayStation VR2. Strap in. This ghost thing’s getting real—or unreal, quite ironically.
