Sure thing, here it goes:

So today’s the big day. Been waiting, what? Five years for this? Spirit of the North 2 just dropped for Xbox Series X|S. I’m Tayler, by the way. Lead developer, mostly daydreamer. Thought I’d spill the beans about why we even bothered to make this sequel. I mean, who doesn’t love a good story, right?
Alright, so, picture 2016. I’m in limbo-land: architecture grad dabbling in 3D art and somehow managing an ice sculpting gig. I know, ice sculptures, right? Anyway, always loved making spaces people could lose themselves in. But video games? That was a whole new playground.
Fast forward to a random holiday in Reykjavík—yes, Iceland! Couldn’t get over the landscapes. Volcanic rocks, glacial lagoons, weird pools that smell funny but look awesome. Felt like nature’s own theme park. Everything just clicked. Seriously, even found this old Finnish tale about the Tulikettu—a magical fox whose tail lights up the sky. Yeah, exactly, wild stuff.
The fox idea took over. Imagine a fox being this mystical guide, like a caretaker of Nordic legends—floating sparks and all. Seemed like a crazy good fit. And yeah, we rolled with it.
We ran with that idea and birthed Spirit of the North. No chit-chat in the game, just a fox wandering through scar-torn lands. It’s about discovery, not spoon-fed plots. The sequel’s a whole different beast: deeper lore, moodier guardians. Like, there’s this troubled Stag and a moody Raven—each with their own baggage. Nice, right?
The first game wasn’t just a project—kinda like my baby, shared with a whole team who care as much as I do. We poured our hearts into creating a universe that feels like a second home. Hope it sparks a bit of magic for you, too.
Anyway, Spirit of the North 2 is up for grabs on Xbox Series X|S now. Dive in, get lost, and enjoy this crazy world we put our souls into. Appreciate it, really.
