I stumbled upon this thing called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist the other day. It’s this VRMMO (don’t ask me what half the letters stand for), and apparently, it’s hitting some big numbers on this crowdfunding site. They launched it last month — June 24th if you’re precise or something — and it’s already passed 100K. Go figure. The game’s folks, these ex-Orbus players, are the masterminds behind it. They got the ball rolling on Kickstarter, and bam! Just like that, within an hour and a half of them saying “go”, they nabbed their $25,000 goal. Didn’t even have time to blink. Honestly, it feels like such a tiny pile of cash for a massive idea like this, with all the jazz they’re promising — classes, quests, you know the drill.
Anyway, before they even kicked it off, this Lynn Souza, big boss at Resolute Games, said they were aiming for the “same as Zenith.” Yeah, figures, trying to get that first easy win to grab more moolah later. And since then, they’ve been tossing out these stretch goals left and right. Stuff like a ‘Bonfire’ healing system, the ability to mess around with Earth and Air or something, and a new species to play as. Not to mention player housing — like Airbnb but more fantasy?
And pets — not just any cute creatures, seems they’ll help on adventures. Get this though, you need $125,000 before they let these critters into the spotlight. They’re the equivalent of your supportive friend, but with mystical powers. The game’s supposed to hit the shelves (or whatever VRs sit on) by late 2026, ready for Quest 3 and SteamVR headsets. Oh, and this whole shebang wraps up by July 24th. So, if you fancy throwing cash at this, you know where to go.
