Sure thing, here goes:

Okay, so Samsung’s doing its thing again with Unpacked. Sounds like it’s happening next month. Usual drill, right? New gadgets and whatnot. This year? We’re talking the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7, maybe a shiny new Galaxy Watch 8. But hey, rumor has it they’re also shining a spotlight on their new XR headset. Mysterious, right? This one’s going by Project Moohan, for those keeping track.
Now, rewind to last December — Samsung dropped hints about this Project Moohan alongside Android XR. Apparently, it’s gonna be the first gadget to run Google’s upcoming XR OS. They’ve teased that it’s launching this year, but no exact date yet. Classic Samsung, playing it cool.
Enter: Panda Flash. Yeah, I know, what a name, right? This leaks guru says we might finally hear a release date for the headset soon. We were expecting some scoop at Google I/O last month. Nada. Turns out, Samsung’s keeping this one close. Like, really close.
Speaking of Panda Flash, they’ve been keeping an eye on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 too. Word is, the headset hits South Korea first. Then, bit by bit, the rest of the world. Kind of like what Apple did with the Vision Pro. First in the US, then globally. Maybe it’s the new trend.
Samsung’s been parading this supposed Vision Pro rival around a few events. Got our hands on it in December. But they’re tight-lipped about specs. A tease, I tell ya.
What do we know? Hmm… the headset’s got a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 + Gen 2, micro-OLED panels courtesy of Sony, some fancy lenses, and automatic IPD adjustment. Oh, and it tracks eyes and hands, with a light shield that snaps on magnetically. Plus, a battery pack you can pop off. Controllers? Yeah, but we haven’t seen them yet.
On another note, smart glasses. Samsung’s supposedly cooking those up too. Launch could be this year — they might be eyeing Ray-Ban’s Meta Smart Glasses with some serious side eye.
Anyway, back to Unpacked. Dates are murky, but it’s supposedly early next month in New York City. Let’s keep our eyes peeled, eh?
