Our first peek at this new thing, “Enchanted by Nature,” comes to The Sims 4 soon. So, here it is—sort of, with Maxis and EA confirming they’d drop the trailer today. Funny how things work, right? Big gameplay reveal slated for June 26 though. Mark your calendars or something.
Okay, so big news: this is the first expansion since that Businesses & Hobbies one hit in March. And, surprise surprise, this new stuff has nature vibes. Makes sense, I guess.
Now, let’s talk fairies. They’re baaaack. Everyone’s been whispering about it since, well, forever. Remember how they rocked our worlds in The Sims 3? EA probably took some notes there. Like, really, they’d be kinda daft not to bring back a hit like that, right?
Oh, and let’s get weird. Sims can throw the whole indoor thing in the trash, start munching on berries, take wild baths, and like, sleep under the sky. Pretty chill till some funky new illnesses come bounding in, though. But hey, grabbing herbs and making potions? Totally a thing now. Is it a skill? A career? Guess we’ll find out on that gameplay reveal day… whenever that is again.
So, picture this: a place called Innisgreen. Sort of like Ireland but through some magical, fairy-tale glasses. Probably closer to Hobbit land if I’m honest. Doubt the actual folks over there are dwelling in treehouses, but Cobh, County Cork gets a little spotlight too. You know, those colorful houses? Yeah, those.
Anyway, this whole “Enchanted by Nature” deal fits into a bigger nature-themed period we’re in. The expansion drops July 10, but there’s this temporary thing, “Nature’s Calling,” starting June 24. Sets the vibe. Then July 1, bam! More nature-y skins for your Sims’ wardrobes.
Maxis also spilled the beans about their June to August plan last week. Guess they’re throwing another update at us on August 19. More bells and whistles or whatever.
And yup, the grand gameplay unveiling of “Enchanted by Nature” happens two weeks from now on June 26. Or did I already say that? Whatever, just put it down somewhere you won’t forget.
