Sure thing! Here we go:

So, SEGA. They’ve hooked up with this YouTuber, Sam Procrastinates—cool name, by the way—to give us a whirlwind tour of Sonic Racing’s saga. I’m talking about everything from those old-school Sonic Drift games on that teeny Game Gear to whatever’s happening now with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Let’s rewind a bit. We started with Sonic Drift, right? And Sonic Drift 2, too. Remember those? Maybe you don’t. Anyway, then there’s Sonic R and Sonic Riders—probably a lot of people’s jam. And it all spills into Team Sonic Racing and, of course, the biggie: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Here’s a kicker: Sonic and all those classic SEGA buddies are in. They’re promising this wild racing mechanic that’s supposed to mess with your head. Or maybe just mine. It’s one of those “Whoa” moments where they’re saying we’ll be whisked away to some crazy new world. Literally.
Land, air, sea—you name it, the courses have it. Oh, and now they’re throwing in these “Travel Rings.” Imagine getting zapped mid-race to somewhere completely new. Like, “Oops, you’re in CrossWorlds now!” Sounds bananas, if you ask me.
Okay, characters—they’re packing in a ton, the most ever, they claim. You can tinker with your ride, mix and match stuff. Like some sort of vehicular fashion show. Find that perfect mix for how you roll—or race, I guess. They want us to tweak every little bit to fit our style. Or misfit, if that’s more your thing.
Looking ahead, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to drop—both in stores and digitally—on the Nintendo Switch’s eShop for the whole globe in 2025. Mark your calendar or scribble it on your wall. Trust me, it’ll be here before you know it.
Oh yeah, and there’s a video about the history thing. Wherever it is, go hunt it down. Watch it. Or don’t. Up to you.
