Man, this week has me spinning with all things eShop. Ever think your phone could double as a game controller? Yeah, enter Sunderfolk. It’s like, get your friends together — or force your siblings, let’s be real — and dive into this RPG world using your phones. Some of us might get stuck choosing between a Bard or a Berserker — decisions, right? But honestly, it’s just good old tactical chaos. Plus, there’s stuff for your home turf in the game. Like, does it improve my real-life room? Sadly, no. But a virtual village upgrade? Sure, why not.
Anyway, speaking of buys, there’s this eShop sale that’s about to vanish. I snagged a couple of gems like Tunic and Vampire Survivors. Maybe I saved money, maybe I just added to my wannabe pro-gamer backlog. Couldn’t tell you for sure, but hey, we all do it.
Oh, and Nintendo’s got this music app thing. Not to sound like I’m advertising (which is ironic, since, well), but Fire Emblem Engage just popped up there. Is it enough to make me download it? Debatable. It’s at least good fodder for the Pure Nintendo Podcast chat. Kirk would have an opinion, I guess — typical Fire Emblem fan, right?
Then there are titles galore this week. Too many, if you ask me. The old-school Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is back, and I’m just saying, the nostalgia alone might pull you in. Strategy, heartbreak — you lose a soldier, they’re gone. That’s the drama we live for.
Trying to keep my head together here (as if), there’s a new F-ZERO 99 update racing in. Mirror tracks? Sounds like a recipe for me crashing — I mean, what is up with reverse directions anyway? There’s even a Mini World Tour thrown in, but who has time to be a pilot in seven races? Okay, maybe some people do, but I’m sure they drink a LOT of coffee.
Oh, and guess what? They’re talking Hogwarts Legacy in the new "Creator’s Voice" video. Magic and game development? Sort of like chocolate and peanut butter, if we’re being honest. If I ever get through my current game list, maybe I’ll check that out.
And one more thing — big eShop sale ending soon. Random impulse buys anyone? Because nothing says budgeting like 50% off games you didn’t know you wanted.
Phew, this week’s a whirlwind. What’s everyone else diving into?
