Sure, here you go:

Okay, so here’s the deal with the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s barely out, right? And already we got some tech wizard named David Buchanan pulling off tricks on it like it’s a stage show. Just scrolling through Bluesky, and there he is – “Found a hole in the system,” he says, sounding all casual like he’s just found loose change in the couch.
So, what he did, no biggie. Maybe? Apparently, it’s a userland Return-Oriented Programming exploit. (How do they even come up with these names?) Anyway, it’s like rewriting a book’s ending using invisible ink. The system’s meant to do A, he makes it do… checkerboard graphics? No clue why that’s a thing. But hey, creativity, right?
Saw this pic of it too – looks like a DIY art project gone wild. But, here’s the kicker. It’s not like you can hack into Fort Knox with this. It’s strictly user-level stuff. No Superman powers for you. Buchanan even mentioned, half-jokingly I bet, that you might as well be watching a YouTube vid. But, credit where it’s due, fellow techies vouched for the hack’s real.
Switch 2’s got these ironclad agreements though. Like, seriously, Nintendo might hit the self-destruct button on your console if you try funny business with their settings. Paranoid? Maybe. But that’s big corporations for you, always two steps ahead with a worried eyebrow raised.
The console’s fresh on the shelf, so nobody’s breaking through its digital defenses just yet. Could be ages before someone figures out how to jailbreak it… if ever. And when they do, oh boy, waiting to see how Nintendo throws down.
And hey, if you’re into hardware and all that tech jazz, Tom’s Hardware on Google News is like the place to camp out. Or so they say.
