Whoa, okay, so when Sony finally said there’s a State of Play coming up, my first thought was like, what the heck are they even gonna show, right? This year, PlayStation’s been, well, kinda quiet, except for some anticipation over their mega game of 2025 — Ghost of Yotei. I mean, seriously, anyone else out there wondering why we’ve barely seen gameplay for something that’s dropping this October? I was scratching my head over that.
So, yeah, Ghost of Yotei actually popped up during this State of Play thing! Surprise, surprise. But blink and you’d miss it; it was that fleeting. Sucker Punch, those sneaky devs, gave us a tiny teaser, leaving us hanging big time. Like, thanks for that, guys. Now, I’m sitting here all antsy for what’s next.
Apparently, they’re cooking up a whole State of Play just for Ghost of Tsushima’s sequel. But, sigh, patience is a virtue, or so they say — we gotta twiddle our thumbs till July. And they’re saying this showcase will dive into Yotei’s revamped gameplay, exploration, combat, blah blah. All the juicy bits we love. Fingers crossed it’s not something like the 31st of July because the sooner, the better, am I right?
Anyway, Ghost of Yotei’s hitting the PS5 shelves on October 2. If you’re a PC gamer like me, you’ll probably be twiddling your thumbs a bit longer, like maybe a couple years down the line. Typical.
