It’s from a whole bunch of companies: Aksys Games, Idea Factory International, Otomate, and TOYBOX Inc. Yeah, quite a list! It’s like they all gathered around for a tea party and decided, “Hey, let’s make something mysterious!”

Right, onto the story. You find yourself in Okunezato—a town that’s basically the boondocks but shaped like a crescent moon. Why? No clue, but it’s just extra spooky, which kinda fits since it’s wrapped up in dark legends. Creepy, yeah? You play as Ichiko Hanamaki (no chance I’ll remember that name), a college student with a lost brother. Been a year since he poofed, and with childhood buddy Hino Kagutsuchi, you’re gonna dig for the truth. Maybe you’ll find it, maybe you won’t. Who’s to say?
